Beyond The Bench

Beyond her judicial duties, Judge Peterson is deeply involved in her community. She is a current Member and Past President of the North Las Vegas Rotary Club. Her commitment to service also includes membership in the NAACP and the Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys.

Judge Peterson has previously served on the Board of Directors for the Rape Crisis Center and dedicated three years as a Truancy Diversion Judge. She regularly volunteers with charitable and community-based organizations such as the Compassion Initiative, 100 Women Who Care, LIMA Diversion program, and Vegas Masketeers while devoting countless hours of her time to helping the homeless.

When she's not working or volunteering, Jessica loves spending time with her husband, Lee, their three cats, and their Labrador, Tucker. Her personal interests include cooking, painting, reading, bike riding, gardening, traveling, and staying active at the gym
